Software Engineer III

Our client is a premier provider of financial compliance and tax technology solutions in the Netherlands. They are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join their product engineering team, developing and scaling core modules of a business-critical platform. The role involves working on both back end and front end components, with a focus on .NET Core, Azure, and modern web frameworks like Angular or React.

• Build and improve core compliance and filing modules used by thousands of professionals.
• Implement modern engineering practices including the responsible use of AI assisted development tools.
• Design and develop APIs, interfaces, and integrations for a scalable cloud platform.
• Collaborate with fiscal domain experts and product owners to translate complex legislation into functional software.
• Maintain high code quality through consistent testing, refactoring, and continuous improvement.

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Two to five years of professional experience in software development.
• Technical proficiency with .NET Core and Azure environments.
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Strong analytical skills and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
• Fluency in English is essential. The ability to read and understand Dutch documentation is required, though speaking Dutch is not mandatory.
• An interest in utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
