Strong Middle Storage Administrator in Email Services

Our team is focused on the development of a robust and scalable distributed storage systems to store user data for our rapidly growing Hosting products. This role involves deploying and configuring storage solutions, maintaining and monitoring servers and storage devices, and planning client infrastructure growth.

• Deploy and configure LINSTOR controllers / satellites, DRBD resources, and storage pools
• Build distributed on premise storage from scratch including planning of hardware resources, network requirements (in cooperation with NetOps team) for rapidly growing product
• Maintain and monitor servers and storage devices
• Plan grow of clients infrastructure
• Creating and maintaining backup plan and disaster recovery procedure
• Continuously test and integrate
• Create, update documentation

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Linux / Unix administration
• Experience with any of the distributed storage systems (SDS) and network file systems (ceph, gluster, drbd, nfs, etc.)
• Understanding of server hardware (sata / sas / nvme devices, hba / raid controllers, multipath)
• Experience with high load, high availability and fault tolerance environments
• Experience with zfs, btrfs or any Copy-on-Write (CoW) file system
• Basic Virtualization experience (KVM, VMware, etc.)
• Basic containerization experience: LXC, Docker, Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of OSI Model, TCP / IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP)
• IP addressing and subnetting, Routing concepts, SAN / NAS
• Basic level with any of programming languages bash / python / golang
• SCM (git, bitbucket)
• Experience with any monitoring systems (Icinga, Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, etc.)
