Middle Full Stack Ruby Developer

Nix is looking for a FullStack Ruby Developer to continue professional growth and achieve new career heights. The role involves the development of web applications focusing on scalability and web security, providing technical support for existing projects, and conducting code reviews.

• Develop web applications in various domains focusing on scalability and web security.
• Provide technical assistance in existing projects following best practices in web application architecture.
• Conduct code reviews in projects.
• Participate in project evaluations applying principles and methodologies to solve various problems.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial projects.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) at Upper Intermediate level or higher.
• Understanding of programming concepts in Ruby.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with databases: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with RSpec, Capybara, and Cucumber.
• Experience in unit testing.
• Teamwork experience using Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Skills in project support tools (bug tracking, Git, TeamCity).
• Experience with React is a plus.
• Experience with Node.js, NestJS, Express/Koa is a plus.
• Skills in effective cooperation with AI Code Assistants (Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) are a plus.
