Software Engineer

You are at the front lines of med tech innovation, joining a diverse team of experienced professionals working in healthcare and technology. You will contribute to developing and maintaining medical software, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deploy new features that improve product performance.

• Develop, deploy and maintain software for Bloomlife internal and external products
• Own and maintain specific software modules, ensuring quality and interoperability
• Setup unit and integration testing, and environment monitoring for software performance
• Collaborate closely with product engineers to provide robust and well-documented software modules
• Provide guidance on industry best practices regarding design, testing, and security

• Background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience in software development in an Agile environment
• Experience writing unit tests and testable code
• Experience in at least two of the following: Medical Device Software (ISO 62304 / 82304), Cloud development (AWS, Terraform), Web app development (React.js, Tailwind), Backend development (Kotlin, PostgreSQL), Healthcare system integration (e.g. FHIR), HIPAA and Cybersecurity
