Backend Engineer - Marketing Core Technology (all genders)

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs
• Develop scalable backend services and fullstack applications using PHP
• Provide and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Design and manage database schemas, and optimize queries for both Relational and Non-Relational Database Management Systems
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and automated deployments
• Implement containerization for applications using technologies like Docker
• Ensure performance optimization and monitoring through tools like Google Cloud Logging and Monitoring
• Implement robust security measures, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
• Create internal and external documentation for systems and processes
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to clean, well-documented, and efficient codebases
• Address system performance, data integrity, and integration resiliency with internal and external systems

• At least 2 to 4 years of proven backend engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in modern PHP (8.2+) and modern frameworks such as Laravel (11/12) or Symfony (6/7)
• Strong SQL skills (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Proven experience building resilient enterprise-grade integrations
• Deep proficiency with observability tools
• Hands-on experience with containerization and local environment automation using Docker
