Senior Java Software Engineer (v/m/x)

As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will design the technical foundations of our application BinnenBeter, contribute to team professionalism, and ensure the software meets high standards for quality, performance, security, and maintainability.

• Design, document, and oversee the software architecture for BinnenBeter and related products.
• Guide the further professionalization and collaboration within the development team.
• Ensure development teams make clear agreements on software structure and maintainable practices.
• Improve performance, security, integrations, and scalability of BinnenBeter.
• Think about cloud strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies and frameworks that contribute to our growth.

• Extensive experience as a Senior Java Developer with a strong technical vision.
• Deep knowledge of Java and Spring Boot (experience with .NET is a plus).
• Experience with Angular (TypeScript) is a plus.
• Experience managing and deploying applications on virtual machines (VMs) with WildFly and interest in modern cloud and container platforms such as Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.

• Salary between €4,500 and €6,690 gross based on 40 hours, depending on experience.
