Infrastructure Engineer - Leaply

SKELAR is a Ukrainian venture builder that creates international tech businesses. We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to build the infrastructure function from scratch for our new Platform team, focusing on stability, observability, security, and optimizing data infrastructure.

• Become the first hire in a new Platform team and build the infrastructure function from scratch.
• Transform infrastructure that has grown alongside the product into a mature, well-structured platform.
• Take Terraform and Kubernetes to the next level of maturity.
• Build a full observability system: metrics, logs, traces, alerting.
• Strengthen security practices: access management, secrets handling, protection from external threats.
• Optimize data infrastructure for analytics and business decision-making.
• Create platform templates for new services.
• Work across three core business domains — Product, Growth/Marketing, and Payments.

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Infrastructure / DevOps
• Strong experience with Kubernetes + Helm
• GCP — projects, networking, services, access management
• Terraform — infrastructure as code, modules, state management
• CI/CD — building and maintaining pipelines
• Observability — monitoring, logging, alerting (Prometheus/Grafana or similar)
• Security — access control, secrets management, protection from external threats
• Ability to write production-level code (Bash/Python, Node.js/TypeScript)
• Ownership mindset — proactively identifying risks and driving solutions
• Actively using AI tools in your workflow.
