Tech Lead - Fullstack

Appfire is looking for a Tech Lead - Fullstack Engineer to join the BigPicture team and help evolve a modern, cloud-based SaaS platform. This role is heavily rooted in backend expertise, requiring a profound understanding of Java, Spring, and AWS / Cloud technologies, while also overseeing the frontend layer with TypeScript, Angular, or React.

• Leading technical discussions and making architectural decisions
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing complex backend functionalities using Java, Spring, and AWS
• Taking ownership of the frontend layer using TypeScript and Angular or React
• Leading the technical implementation of upcoming AI features
• Promoting modern AI developer tools to maximize efficiency

• Proven experience acting as a Tech Lead
• Deep knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL
• Strong understanding of SaaS architecture and AWS
• Good hands-on skills in TypeScript and modern frameworks
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development practices
• A good understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
• Proficiency in JUnit/Spock, Git, Maven, and Docker
