Software Engineer Industriële Automatisering

As a Software Engineer in industrial automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control software for automation projects. The role involves working in multidisciplinary teams to solve complex automation issues and participating in all stages of the development process, including functional specification, PLC programming, testing, and maintenance of systems.

• Designing technical solutions for industrial processes
• Programming and configuring control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI)
• Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
• Preparing technical documentation and user manuals
• Guiding project commissioning and delivery at client sites
• Analyzing and resolving technical problems in existing systems
• Advising clients on optimization opportunities

• HBO/WO degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science or similar
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation or software engineering
• Proven experience with PLC programming and SCADA/HMI systems
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and C#/C++
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, ProfiNet, Modbus)
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Dutch, both verbal and written
• Customer-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills
