Full Stack Engineer Intern

Leading the future in luxury electric and mobility, Lucid Motors is seeking a Full Stack Engineer Intern to contribute to real product work while learning best practices from experienced engineers. This internship provides hands-on full-stack development experience in a collaborative environment.

• Collaborate with engineers to design, build, and ship scalable web applications
• Work on both front-end and back-end features using React, Java, and Node.js
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and work with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance improvements
• Learn and apply modern engineering practices (Agile/Scrum, clean code, CI/CD)
• Help improve documentation and contribute to team ways of working

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with React and at least one backend language/framework (Java and/or Node.js)
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and APIs (REST)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset
• Clear communication skills and comfort working in a team
• Basic understanding of object-oriented design and code structure (classes, objects, interfaces; inheritance vs. composition)
• Familiar with the SOLID principles and able to apply them in practical code design
• Experience with AWS (or other cloud platforms) (nice to have)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or containerization (nice to have)
• Familiarity with system design basics (layered architecture, modular design, dependency injection) (nice to have)
• Experience with TypeScript, state management, or backend frameworks (nice to have)
• Any prior internship, project, or open-source contribution (nice to have)
