Junior Machine Learning Engineer

Join the Land Data Science Center as a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, where you will work on AI and data science solutions impacting military operations. You will collaborate with data scientists to build robust data processing pipelines and support the deployment of AI models.

• Support the design, construction, and management of scalable data processing pipelines.
• Develop databases and applications for data improvement and transformation.
• Assist Data Scientists by packaging AI models into deployable applications.
• Help implement AI and data science solutions in operational environments.
• Collaborate in project teams to translate complex problems into actionable plans.

• Completed HBO or WO education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• Demonstrable affinity with data pipelines, cloud technologies, and data management.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing and database techniques (SQL, NoSQL).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
