Data Engineer

Riviq is looking for a Data Engineer to work on data platform projects, utilizing cloud services from Microsoft Azure. In this role, you'll design data models, develop data pipelines, and collaborate with a team to enhance data platforms.

• Work on data platform projects for various clients.
• Design data models for modern data platforms.
• Unlock different types of data sources via APIs.
• Create data pipelines translating business logic into data transformations.
• Communicate with business stakeholders, data analysts, data scientists, and network administrators.

• Bachelor's or master's degree completed.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in designing and developing data warehouses and data platforms.
• Experience with ETL tools and SQL databases.
• Experience with cloud environments like Azure, Databricks, AWS, GCP, or Snowflake.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or C#.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts (e.g., Kimball) and data lakehouse concepts.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with agile concepts like Scrum and DevOps.
• Minimum C2 level in Dutch.
