As a Senior Backend Engineer in our Integrations Squad, you play a key role in connecting clinics and health services through innovative standards.

• Develop backend services & APIs
• Optimize system integrations with Ruby on Rails and TypeScript
• Develop data pipelines and integrate standards like KIS, HL7, and FHIR
• Ensure GDPR-compliant and secure data transmission
• Collaborate with frontend, product management, DevOps, and clinical partners
• Maintain code quality and system stability
• Continuously optimize AWS-based infrastructure and architecture

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with Ruby on Rails and TypeScript in productive environments
• In-depth experience with KIS, HL7, and FHIR, including secure integrations between heterogeneous systems
• Strong knowledge in API design, RESTful and asynchronous integrations following security and integration principles
• AWS and DevOps expertise, including building CI/CD pipelines and using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Fluent in German and English, with German C1 level required
