• Translate customer and business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Design and implement robust, production-quality software solutions using Python and existing platform APIs.
• Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow.
• Collaborate closely with scientists, application experts, and fellow engineers to ensure solutions address real-world use cases.

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Software Engineering, Physics, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Python with at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM-based developer tools and validating AI-generated code.
• Experience working with data-intensive or scientific software systems, ideally in mass spectrometry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
