Managed Services Engineer (m/w/d)

This position involves planning, implementing, and further developing modern IT security solutions, integrating existing systems into a stable operating environment, and continuously monitoring the IT landscape with a focus on security technologies.

• Planning, implementation, and further development of modern IT security solutions and integration of existing systems into a stable operating environment
• Continuous monitoring of the IT landscape, including analysis and resolution of disturbances with a focus on security technologies
• Conducting regular system checks, applying security and firmware updates, and ensuring current and traceable documentation
• Preparation and presentation of security-relevant evaluations, risk analyses, and optimization recommendations
• Involvement in the evaluation of security strategies and conducting analyses to identify technical vulnerabilities
• Support and involvement in projects related to IT security and network infrastructure

• Successfully completed training or degree in the IT field or a comparable qualification with a technical focus
• Initial practical contact with IT systems, networks, or information security
• Experience with security solutions, ideally in the Sophos portfolio; existing certifications are advantageous
• Basic knowledge in the administration and implementation of IT infrastructures and security solutions
• Structured and analytical approach combined with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork and professional communication skills
• Good English skills are desirable
