MLOps Engineer -Utrecht

As an MLOps expert at NS, you will build 'paved paths' for AI. You will lower the cognitive load of teams by automating compliance and best practices into reusable templates. Your experience in Python and Databricks will ensure that innovation is scalable and robust.

• Developing and maintaining robust and scalable MLOps tools and code templates to standardize and simplify versioning, testing, automation, experimentation, and deployment of code, data, and models.
• Incorporating best practices and compliance by default into these tools and code templates.
• Collaborating with Tech Leads and Solution Architects to align the tools and code templates with the methods of product teams and NS's architectural frameworks.
• Publishing these tools and code templates and associated documentation as self-service components (paved paths) on the internal developer portal.
• Assisting teams in adopting these tools and code templates through training and support.
• Collecting feedback from teams, acting upon it, and measuring adoption.

• Completed technical university degree, for example, in computer science, AI, data science, or similar.
• At least 5 years of experience as an AI/ML engineer with end-to-end AI/ML product development (architecture, pipelines, automation, deployment, observability).
• Proven experience with Python, Databricks, MLFlow; experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, Unity Catalog is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience with DevOps and Platform Engineering/Site Reliability Engineering (mindset and tooling). Experience with Developer Experience is a plus.
• Ability to connect and facilitate: effectively collaborating with Data Scientists, Technical Team Leads, AI product teams, Platform Engineers, and Solution Architects to translate bottlenecks into joint standards.
• Results-oriented: striving for measurable impact and ensuring that improvements are actually implemented in teams.

• A salary between € 4,488 and € 7,515 gross per month.
