Senior Platform Engineer at StackOne

StackOne is a $24M Series B London-based startup building an AI Integration Gateway. As the first dedicated Senior Platform Engineer, you will own the infrastructure, lead the migration from AWS CDK to Terraform, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and architect BYOC delivery into customer cloud environments.

• Lead the transition of the entire AWS estate from AWS CDK to Terraform while maintaining high reliability for production workloads like ECS Fargate and Aurora.
• Architect and automate the deployment pipeline, consolidating toward a monorepo with incremental, affected-only testing to ensure rapid developer feedback loops.
• Build the versioning, packaging, and delivery systems required to ship StackOne’s platform into customer-managed cloud environments with full observability and security.

• Has 4+ years of experience in platform engineering or SRE, with deep expertise in AWS services including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, and Lambda.
• Demonstrates high proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK) and programming in TypeScript or Python to build developer tools rather than just configuration.
• Possesses a security-first mindset with experience securing CI/CD pipelines and ideally shipping software into customer-managed cloud or on-prem environments.
