Lead Back-End Developer

We’re building AI systems that pair multilayered, scalable knowledge graphs with advanced reasoning agents—technology designed to navigate and make sense of the most complex knowledge domains with genuine scholarly precision. It’s ambitious work, and we’re looking for people who are excited by hard problems that don’t have textbook answers yet.

• Architect and implement scalable backend services and multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure
• Design and operate high-throughput data pipelines, both batch and streaming
• Build APIs and services that integrate LLM inference, retrieval systems, and knowledge graphs
• Productionize research-grade AI systems into reliable, well-engineered distributed systems

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native environments
• Hands-on experience architecting, building, and deploying Kubernetes-based systems
• Experience in early-stage startups or fast-moving environments—ideally having built products from 0 to 1
• Fluent English
