UX / UI Developer (m/w/d)

In this role, you will actively participate in shaping modern enterprise software and developing intuitive user interfaces. You will be responsible for both the conception and technical implementation of modern, high-performance frontends.

• Development and implementation of modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for enterprise applications
• Implementation of UI/UX concepts into technical frontend solutions
• Development of reusable UI components and widgets
• Integration of frontend applications with backend systems via APIs (e.g. Single Page Applications)
• Optimization of performance, rendering, and client-server communication
• Ensuring usability, accessibility, browser compatibility, and responsive design
• Creation and maintenance of frontend templates and script-based solutions
• Collaboration on technical conception, frontend architecture, and effort estimations
• Conducting code reviews and quality assurance
• Supporting 2nd and 3rd level support on frontend topics
• Collaboration with backend developers

• Completed training or degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field
• Very good knowledge of the Java ecosystem and common frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience with Java-based UI frameworks (e.g., Vaadin) or stable API integration for Single Page Applications
• Proficient use of AI coding assistants to speed up frontend development and test generation
• Strong understanding of usability and user-centered design
• Service-oriented and team-oriented collaboration with internal application developers
• Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and English
