Junior DevOps Applications Engineer

Fulltime Junior DevOps Applications Engineer in Den Haag. In this role you connect IT, data and finance within an important financial application platform. You will ensure that accounting data is processed correctly and that systems operate smoothly.

• Support the configuration and management of the Aptitude Accounting Hub platform.
• Write and maintain SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Monitor daily data processing and identify deviations.
• Investigate and resolve system and data incidents.
• Contribute to functional tests, acceptance tests, and other testing activities.
• Document processes, data flows, and technical configurations.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance colleagues to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Assist in the monthly and annual closing processes within financial administration.

• Completed higher vocational education (HBO) in IT, Computer Science, Data, Finance or a related field.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL, such as SELECT statements, JOINs, filters, and aggregates.
• Affinity with data analysis, databases, and financial systems.
• Interest in financial accounting concepts such as debit/credit, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable asking questions.
• Ability to work independently but also enjoy collaborating with IT and Finance colleagues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.

• Salary: A gross monthly salary between €3,600 and €4,200, depending on experience.
