Mobile Test Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

Join EDEKA IT as a Mobile Test Automation Engineer to enhance the quality of our mobile applications. You'll contribute to developing innovative mobile apps and improving our testing processes, particularly for Android applications, while enjoying a hybrid work model and various employee benefits.

• Conduct acceptance tests, smoke tests, regression tests, and system tests
• Continuously expand the Maestro automation and integrate it into our CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions
• Maintain and update Maestro tests to ensure they are ahead of feature drift

• Completed a relevant degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience in mobile testing, particularly for Android applications
• Knowledge of automated testing for Flutter apps
• Familiarity with test management tools like Qase
• Understanding of CI/CD for mobile test runs
• Experience in creating and maintaining mobile test automation environments, preferably with Maestro or similar tools
• Understanding of various testing types and procedures (smoke tests, regression tests, integration tests, system tests)
• Experience with API requests using proxy tools such as Charles or Proxyman
• Knowledge of our app stack (Android, Kotlin, Flutter) and local gRPC services
• Self-motivated and proactive work style
• Fluent in German (C1) and very good English (min. B2)
