AI Automation Specialist (Design)

UPSTARS is a product IT company focused on technological solutions and B2B services for international clients. We are launching star projects in the iGaming field and aim to support a legal market in Ukraine.

• build and maintain automations from simple N8N flows to more complex pipelines via API
• integrate AI usage with team tools like Jira, Slack, internal platforms
• connect and configure APIs: OpenAI, Anthropic, Higgsfield, etc.
• build guardrails and safety layers with mandatory logging for high-risk workflows
• monitor pipelines, debug, and adapt flows with model updates
• assess cost, reliability, and performance of automations
• participate in developing an internal Solution Library: API connections, backend setup, integration with existing team tools
• maintain the technical infrastructure of the platform: updates, debugging, monitoring availability
• familiarity with Python/JavaScript to write simple scripts for data processing

• 2+ years in similar positions
• experience with no-code/low-code automation tools: N8N, Make, Zapier and REST APIs
• understanding of MCP protocol principles and AI agent architecture
• familiarity with building reliable pipelines: logging, error handling, failure notifications
• basic knowledge of LLM operation: tokens, context window, temperature
• ability to read and understand other people's code and automation
• understanding of Human-in-the-Loop concept and experience implementing interactive approvals
• understanding of GDPR and basic data storage requirements
