AI Engineer

NEXadept is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using LLMs, build AI agents and RAG pipelines, and integrate with internal systems. The role involves both backend and frontend development, with a focus on AI/ML solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Build AI Agents, RAG pipelines, and workflow automation to solve real business problems.
• Integrate LLMs with internal systems, APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs to support AI applications.
• Build intuitive frontend interfaces for AI products using modern web frameworks.
• Optimize prompts, evaluate model performance, and improve response quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to rapidly iterate on new features.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI models, frameworks, and developer tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Experience building backend services using Node.js, Python (FastAPI), or similar frameworks
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar)
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI agents, function calling, MCP, RAG, vector databases, or orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex)
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
