IT Automation and Integration Engineer

As an IT Automation & Integration Engineer in the IT Systems & Services team, you will drive scalable, secure, and intelligent automation across Catawiki’s internal systems, enhancing data and process consistency through well-designed integrations.

• Design & implement automation workflows using platforms like Okta, Jamf, Jira, Slack, HiBob, HubSpot, and Google Workspace.
• Build and manage system integrations using REST APIs, Webhooks, and OpenAPI specifications.
• Write robust automation scripts in Python and Node.js.
• Build scalable and secure Slack bots using Slack APIs.
• Implement cloud-based automation using GCP services like Cloud Functions.
• Incorporate AI-driven logic using OpenAI.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and maintain documentation of architecture, workflows, and API logic.
• Monitor system health and workflow execution, troubleshoot integration issues.

• 5+ years of experience in IT automation, system integration, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficient in Python and Node.js.
• Direct experience working with iPaaS platforms such as Okta Workflow, N8N, Workato, Tray.io, Boomi, Zapier, or MuleSoft.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, Webhooks, OAuth2, JSON/XML.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Functions).
