Softwareingenieur (m/w/d)

Hamm AG, part of the WIRTGEN GROUP, is looking for a Software Engineer to develop smart HMI solutions for mobile working machines. The role involves collaboration with various sites, project management, and third-level support.

• Conception, design, and development of (smart) HMI developments for the control of mobile working machines
• Definition and coordination of HMI prototypes and acceptance tests in collaboration with test engineers
• Coordination with other sites of the Wirtgen Group and John Deere regarding hardware and communication
• Monitoring and compliance with respective Wirtgen Group standards and HAMM factory standards
• Part project management in individual software and automation projects
• Creation, review, and compliance with schedules based on development orders
• Series support of existing software products including analysis, optimization, and further development
• Third-level support for service, production, and prototype construction
• Maintenance and establishment of software versions in the SAP cockpit
• Technical documentation
• Occasional business trips worldwide

• Completed studies in computer science or related field
• Very good knowledge of C or C++ as well as QML or Java
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab/GitHub
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Proficient use of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Good German and English skills
