OT Network Engineer

As an OT Network Engineer at Eneco, you will work on the network backbone behind renewable energy assets. You will design, build, and operate OT networks, ensuring their availability and security in a mission-critical environment.

• Designing and implementing OT network solutions for new and existing production assets, in both greenfield and brownfield settings.
• Ensuring secure, resilient site connectivity, including segmentation, IT/OT separation and provider-agnostic access.
• Managing day-to-day availability and reliability of Eneco's OT network landscape.
• Owning incidents from a network perspective: analysis, resolution, escalation and clear communication until the issue is fully solved.
• Implementing structural improvements, standards and lifecycle management of the OT network.

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar network engineering role.
• A bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related field.
• Solid expertise in network segmentation, routing, switching, firewalls and VPN technologies.
• A good understanding of security concepts and frameworks like ISO 27001 and IEC 62443.
• Hands-on experience with OT environments, including SCADA and PLC systems, and familiarity with OT protocols such as IEC 60870-5-104, OPC-UA and Modbus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with internal teams, vendors and integrators.
• Willingness to join the 24/7 on-call rotation.
