Senior DevOps Engineer

About the project: You will be working with a few websites in the gaming industry, which are sort of metasearch (affiliate) websites for the gaming industry. Behind these websites, a very sophisticated system is working big data center with a different analytical system of users’ behavior to optimize websites’ work.

• Provide consulting services to application teams looking to build Cloud-based applications
• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management systems
• Perform script updates due to changes in requirements or implementations
• Design, implement, and improve the monitoring and alerting system
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment
• Optimize system performance, availability, and scalability
• Assist in production support
• Collaborate with team members to improve developed tools, systems, procedures, and data security
• Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
• Participate in developing continuous release and deployment automation flows
• Automate AWS (and optionally GCP or Azure) resources and infrastructure provisioning
• Maintain infrastructures and environments of all types from dev to production
• Security monitoring and administration

• Minimum 6 years of experience managing infrastructure
• Strong Linux background: installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux-based environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms
• Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes (self-managed, EKS, GKE)
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven experience designing and building high-availability environments
• Infrastructure automation expertise: Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
• Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Zabbix, ELK stack, or similar
• System administration and general virtualization experience
