Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Position

YouControl is an analytical system that from more than 220 sources forms a complete profile for each company and individual entrepreneur of Ukraine on the basis of open data, tracks changes in state registers and visualises links between affiliated persons. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our energetic and proactive team.

Responsibilities5

• Participate in the development and implementation of a new approach to infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability of applications and configure redundancy of platform components for company products.
• Contribute to the design of a platform for high-load backend and frontend applications in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Set up and maintain product monitoring systems.
• Respond proactively to incidents to ensure a high level of SLA for B2B clients.

Requirements12

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working closely with product development teams.
• 5+ years of experience with both on-premise solutions and cloud providers.
• Experience in configuring, maintaining, and supporting the reliability and uptime of infrastructure components (databases, virtualization clusters, common infrastructure).
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform / Ansible).
• Experience working with Proxmox / OpenNebula as core virtualization controllers.
• Solid knowledge of Unix systems at the system administrator level.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model.
• Understanding of virtualization/containerization principles and environments (KVM, LXC, Docker).
• Experience operating Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments under real workloads.
• Proficiency with monitoring systems (Zabbix / Prometheus).
• Good hands-on experience with any of the big cloud providers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab / Jenkins / etc.)
