Senior Platform Cloud Engineer

About the Position

As a Senior Platform Cloud Engineer, you will work with AWS and ensure the scalability and efficiency of our cloud-based platform.

Responsibilities7

• Own the availability and performance of mission-critical services
• Build automation to prevent problems recurrence
• Improve the system’s scalability, observability, and alerting
• Build tooling to improve our platform
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
• Collaborate with product teams on technical issues and new systems
• Participate in on-call rotation across the team

Requirements8

• Expertise in designing, building, maintaining high traffic distributed systems in the cloud
• Strong experience in AWS services and infrastructure, particularly with Kubernetes, Load Balancers, Kafka, Networking
• Strong experience in CDN, Edge Ingress setup
• Highly proficient with Terraform
• Experience in implementing observability and alerting
• Proficiency with production troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills. Minimum B2 English level
• Nice to have: coding experience, knowledge of modern web frameworks; SQL and relational DBs
