About the Position

Are you passionate about test automation and eager to make an impact in the automotive industry? We are looking for a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with proficiency in JavaScript to join our team. Our client, a leading provider of automotive services and technology solutions, supports a wide array of clients, including car buyers, automakers, dealers, retailers, lenders, and fleet owners.

Responsibilities6

• Develop and maintain the test automation framework
• Port existing tests to new solutions and restructure them when required
• Build a reliable integration test package
• Identify and address gaps in test coverage by adding new scenarios
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and the Development team to ensure timely and quality task delivery
• Suggest new ideas for test and code design to improve processes and outcomes

Requirements7

• 4+ years of experience in Test Automation, with the ability to develop and maintain scenarios for UI and API test automation using the BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) approach
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Cucumber, WebDriverIO, axios, Cypress, SauceLabs, and any CI tool
• Background in creating BDD designs and familiarity with building the architecture for test automation frameworks
• Skills in producing high-quality test documentation
• Capability to build and maintain test suites and test cases, as well as manage defects
• Strong communication skills, with at least B1+ English proficiency; able to propose ideas and improvements
• Familiarity with working within a Scrum framework
