Senior Frontend Game Developer (Pixi.js)

About the Position

UPSTARS is a product IT company focused on technological solutions and B2B services for international clients, especially in the iGaming sector. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Game Developer to enhance our Frontend department and support the development of engaging gaming projects.

Responsibilities8

• Develop the client part of gaming slots
• Implement visual effects, transitions, and interactive elements
• Integrate game assets: working with graphics, animations, sound
• Optimize performance to maintain stable FPS
• Work with project architecture: create modular, maintainable code
• Integrate with backend and RGS: connecting APIs
• Testing and support: writing unit/integration tests
• Team collaboration with game designers, technical artists, animators, and mathematicians.

Requirements10

• 3+ years experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development
• Experience in iGaming/slots and understanding game mechanics
• Deep knowledge of PixiJS: working with rendering, sprites, containers, textures
• Ability to optimize graphics, animations, and asset loading
• Experience integrating with REST/WebSocket APIs
• Understanding of game cycle architecture, event systems, state management
• Version control systems (Git)
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and build tools (Webpack, Vite)
• Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code
• English at the level of reading documentation and team communication.
