Software Engineer - API EcoSystem

As a Software Engineer API Ecosystem, you’ll develop an API registry and tooling to ensure our APIs aren't just technically sound, but also easily discoverable, usable, and reliable. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across the organization to drive API design-first adoption and act as an enabling partner of engineering teams, fostering knowledge and practices that establish API design-first as the standard way of working.

• Build and maintain the API registry (Apigee API Hub/GCP)
• Create developer tooling and automation
• Evolve the unified developer portal
• Implement API quality gates and standards
• Enable proactive change management
• Partner with teams on API design-first adoption

• Deep API design expertise
• Experience in REST (OpenAPI)
• Experience in PubSub (AsyncAPI)
• Cloud platform knowledge (GCP is particularly welcome)
• Experience with API management platforms
