Lead AI Engineer — Agentic Products & Platform

About the Position

Simulmedia is building AI into how TV advertising is planned, activated, and measured. The role involves designing and implementing AI systems within a collaborative engineering environment, contributing to both technical leadership and hands-on engineering.

Responsibilities5

• Design and build AI agents embedded in the product across campaign management, workflow automation, and audience intelligence.
• Own the full engineering stack for each agent including tool definitions and orchestration logic.
• Translate product and data science intent into production-grade agentic systems.
• Define the interfaces between agentic systems and the rest of the platform.
• Define what healthy looks like for an agentic system and instrument accordingly.

Requirements4

• 6+ years in backend or platform engineering with experience building AI systems in production.
• Deep experience with LLMs in production including prompt engineering and tool use.
• Comfortable with Python and TypeScript as primary languages; Go experience is a plus.
• Data engineering fluency to work confidently with pipelines, SQL, and a warehouse environment like Redshift.
