DevOps Engineer

About the Position

We are a German company specializing in the development of software solutions for managing sports events in Germany.

Responsibilities11

• Supporting and developing infrastructure (prod, staging, dev) on Hetzner servers
• Administering Linux servers
• Setting up and maintaining network infrastructure and security
• Managing access, SSH keys, and secrets
• Configuring and supporting CI/CD processes
• Monitoring, alerting, and responding to incidents
• Automating processes (deploy, configuration, updates)
• Ensuring backup and recovery
• Documenting infrastructure and processes
• Optimizing performance and stability of systems
• Participating in investigation and resolution of incidents

Requirements9

• Experience with DevOps/infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of Linux (server administration, troubleshooting)
• Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall, VPN, LB)
• Understanding of security principles (access, SSH, IAM, secrets)
• Experience with Hetzner servers
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Setting up and supporting CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Experience configuring monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Basic knowledge of working with databases
