DevOps engineer

About the Position

Sense Bank is a state-owned bank with a 30-year history. We are looking for someone to participate in researching information systems and technologies, providing feasibility studies, developing working prototypes, documenting developments, and consulting on implementation.

Responsibilities7

• Conduct research on information systems and technologies as per requests.
• Perform feasibility studies and recommend system implementations.
• Develop working prototypes or components of systems, making necessary adjustments to adjacent systems.
• Document developments and recommendations thoroughly.
• Conduct demonstrations of research results.
• Develop implementation plans and provide consulting on implementations.
• Resolve non-standard situations and participate in incident investigations that arise in the operation of systems and processes.

Requirements13

• Technical English level sufficient for reading documentation; conversational English is a plus.
• Understanding principles of computer technology operation.
• Understanding operational systems architecture and administration.
• Skills in working with and administering Linux; skills in writing shell scripts; skills in administering application servers.
• Understanding computer networking principles and knowledge of network protocols.
• Familiarity with application containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with OpenShift/OKD is a plus.
• Understanding software development life cycle stages.
• Familiarity with basic development management methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java/Groovy/Kotlin, Python, Go.
• Understanding software build processes and systems.
• Understanding CI/CD, skills in creating pipelines, understanding information systems architecture, and components of information ecosystem.
