Senior Development Tooling Engineer

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. The position involves working on a distributed, real-time, 24/7 system with interesting performance and security requirements, developing tools and applications to create a great DevEx for other Software Engineers.

• Work alongside a team of engineers on tooling, software, and systems for maintaining a lean and performant SDLC.
• Write bespoke local or CI tooling.
• Work on the software testing framework or environments.
• Design release pipeline and associated flows.

• 7+ years of experience in maintaining high availability in a constantly running system built in multiple languages.
• Proficiency in either Java, Python or Golang.
• 2+ years of strong experience working with Linux.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Proven track record in developing CI/CD tooling and applications.
• Hands-on experience with writing and maintaining GitLab and Jenkins pipelines.
• At least surface knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Puppet for system configuration and automation.
