Fullstack Engineer

Mercura Technologies Inc. is an innovative startup automating complex back-office processes with AI. They are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable AI-driven systems, working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

• designing and developing high-performance, reliable backend systems and APIs that support AI products and ensure scalability
• taking end-to-end ownership of features, from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement
• collaborating closely with product teams and end-users to translate real-world workflows into technical solutions
• contributing to the development of AI systems, including large language models, and shaping technical architecture and deployment strategies
• optimizing system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for reliability and scalability
• participating in fast-paced development cycles, rapidly shipping improvements and iterating based on user feedback and data-driven insights
• staying abreast of emerging AI technologies and integrating them into the platform

• strong background in full-stack software engineering with proficiency in React, Typescript, and Python
• proven experience in architecting and building complex, production-grade software systems
• solid understanding of performance optimization, reliability, and scalability challenges in cloud environments
• hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• familiarity with integrating large language models (LLMs), AI systems, or large-scale data pipelines into production environments
• high level of ownership, proactive problem-solving skills, and a product-oriented mindset
