Founding Engineer

Founding Engineer role at a startup building a next-generation tax platform for European businesses. The team is small and fast-moving, looking for someone who can build full-stack features quickly and interact directly with users.

• Build impactful features
• Writing a ton of code (primarily Typescript/Next.js)
• Keeping our stack running (Vercel/Cloudflare/AWS)
• Talk to users when they break things
• Make quick product decisions

• have built things from the ground up with real users (4+ years)
• be comfortable with our stack: Typescript, Nextjs, React, LLM APIs (openai, mistral, anthropic, etc.)
• enjoy startup life - a lot of responsibility, fast decisions
• have experience building with AI
• fix things without being asked
• care more about the user experience than your nice code
• bonus: have been a founder or CTO in the past
