Junior Full-Stack Engineer (PHP)

About the Position

The role primarily involves administering WordPress, fixing layout issues, and managing content. Responsibilities include writing simple scripts in PHP and interacting with MySQL databases.

• Administering WordPress: installing plugins, editing themes, fixing layout issues (HTML/CSS), configuring forms.
• Maintaining existing websites: fixing bugs, replacing content.
• Content management: mass uploading articles, working with admin panels.
• Writing simple PHP scripts (parsing, text processing, file management).
• Working with MySQL database (simple queries, backups).
• Interacting with Linux console (SSH) for basic file operations.

Requirements9

• Confident knowledge of HTML/CSS (able to find and correct bugs in existing layouts).
• Basic knowledge of PHP (understands syntax, can write a loop/function, knows how GET/POST works).
• Understanding of how websites work (Domain -> DNS -> Hosting -> Browser).
• Ability to use Git (clone, pull, commit, push) at a basic level.
• Knowledge of Linux console (cd, ls, grep, cat, ssh, chmod).
• Willingness to work with someone else's code (WordPress, Legacy) and learn quickly.
• Knowledge of regular expressions (Regex) is a plus.
• Experience with any CMS (WordPress/Opencart/Joomla) is a plus.
• Basic SQL (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE).
