SENIOR FULL STACK ENGINER

About the Position

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a U.S.-based startup developing an AI-driven platform for video and multimodal communication. The product enables businesses to record videos, automatically generate transcripts, translations, summaries, and action items, while also ensuring content authenticity through proprietary “Seal of Authenticity” technology.

Responsibilities9

• Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Redux, and RxJS.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs with Python and Node.js.
• Build and maintain mobile applications using Ionic/Cordova and native iOS/Android frameworks.
• Design cloud infrastructure using GCP, AWS (Lambda, EC2, SNS, CDN), and Azure.
• Ensure database performance and reliability using PostgreSQL, including NoSQL transactions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, CircleCI, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Maintain documentation and API specifications using Postman and Swagger.
• Work across multiple operating systems, including Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.

Requirements15

• 5+ years of professional experience with mobile development.
• 10+ years of experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• 6+ years of experience with Python.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with React.
• Knowledge in Redux and RxJS.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS.
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including NoSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platform(s).
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Experience in testing and in the creation of documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in distributed teams.
• Strong motivation for building innovative and high-quality products.
