About the Position

IT Specialist is a Ukrainian IT integrator established in 2014, focusing on IT and cybersecurity solutions for medium and large businesses. The company is looking for a Junior Node.js developer to join their team of professionals, offering opportunities for horizontal and vertical growth in an evolving environment.

Responsibilities13

• Development of scripts, micro-services using programming languages Python or NodeJS
• Documentation development (specifications)
• Research of APIs of adjacent systems (for integration implementation)
• Diagnostics and bug fixing
• Support during software deployment
• Technical support for users of software
• Designing data storage structure
• Designing APIs
• Code quality assessment (code review)
• Detailing development tasks (requirements)
• Planning development tasks
• Refactoring
• Setting up CI/CD processes

Requirements17

• At least 1 year of experience in automation development: scripts, web applications / working with databases
• Knowledge of programming languages: JavaScript (NodeJS), Python
• Understanding of basic network protocols (network, transport, and application layers)
• Excellent knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS protocols
• Knowledge of modern user authorization methods (JWT, etc.)
• Understanding of OWASP TOP 10
• Understanding of database principles
• Understanding of project management methods (Scrum, Agile)
• Understanding of distributed architecture
• Understanding of CI/CD
• Knowledge of algorithms and design patterns
• Skills in Back-end technologies: Node JS (Express), additionally: Python (Flask)
• Ability to build and deploy software: Docker, Docker Compose, Webpack
• Experience with MongoDB or other databases
• Optimization and refactoring skills
• Skills in developing user documentation
• Experience with Angular as a frontend framework will be an advantage
