Senior Asset Development Engineer

Five9, a leading provider of cloud contact center software, seeks a Senior Asset Development Engineer to join its Professional Services development team. The role involves rapid product development using modern methodologies and tools, focusing on web-based applications with JavaScript, Node.js, and VueJS. The position is full-time and remote within the Continental US.

• Strong software development background.
• Experience working with end-to-end tool chains including project definition and organization, source control, linting, test automation.
• Recent experience with Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, Git.
• Expert in: JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, Node.js.
• Proficient in: Typescript, Nest.js, VueJS
• Toolchain: Visual Studio Code, Jira, Confluence, Git
• An understanding of cloud-based software development considerations and architectures (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) and web-based API interfaces (SOAP, REST, AJAX, WebSockets, etc.)
• Familiarity with unix based command line shell usage.
• Knowledge of Contact Center technologies a plus.
• 5+ years experience in application or integration software development.
• 3+ years development experience in web-based applications (HTML5, JavaScript) and associated frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, SASS, PostCSS, jQuery, Marionette, Backbone, Bootstrap, Foundation, etc
• 1+ years experience with web application hosting services such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, and self-hosted Node.js services
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience is required.
