Junior DevOps Engineer

About the Position

NIX is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join a team of like-minded individuals. Among the most interesting tasks are the development and implementation of cluster and high-availability systems for websites and mail, automation of server and infrastructure configuration, working with cloud services and virtualization.

Responsibilities5

• Remote configuration of Linux and Windows servers
• Setting up microservices and containerized environments
• Working with cloud providers: AWS or Azure
• Automating the deployment of code updates to project environments
• Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of mission-critical infrastructures.

Requirements8

• Experience in administering Linux/UNIX and Windows systems (must have practical experience, 1 to 3 years)
• Familiarity with basic services of AWS or Azure
• Experience with web servers Nginx, Apache, or IIS
• Experience with virtualization systems or Docker
• Knowledge of Bash/Shell or PowerShell
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency
• Ability to read manuals and fill information gaps using Google or AI assistants
• Experience in identifying and solving problems in various environments.
