Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Position

Impressit is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a cross-functional product team working on an AI-powered healthcare platform that integrates EHR, billing, and patient engagement into a unified system.

Responsibilities10

• Design, build, maintain and improve scalable cloud infrastructure for a modern healthtech platform
• Manage containerized workloads using AWS ECS Fargate
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and disaster recovery of critical healthcare systems
• Implement and improve observability across distributed systems
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development and deployment workflows
• Participate in architecture discussions and infrastructure decision-making
• Work with data and backend services (PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch)

Requirements15

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS Fargate, Aurora PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch, DMS)
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and DevOps best practices
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions — hosted and self-managed runners)
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (indexing, replication)
• Experience with Docker image management (security, optimization)
• Proven ability to design and implement disaster recovery strategies
• Experience with observability practices (OpenTelemetry and monitoring stacks)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Sentry, Sumo Logic)
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (VPC, Routing, Security Groups, Peering, Endpoints) and permission management (IAM)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communicator, comfortable working in cross-functional teams
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals (system design, distributed systems, architecture)
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
