About the Position

Digital Aurora is the product & tech direction of the Aurora group of companies, one of the largest retail networks in Ukraine with over 1800 stores. The company is building an ecosystem that combines online and offline customer experiences into a seamless customer journey.

Responsibilities11

  • create, develop, and scale the Digital Aurora design system for mobile applications, e-commerce, and in-store solutions
  • design simple, fast, and understandable user scenarios that reduce purchase time and increase customer satisfaction
  • conduct UX research: interviews, usability tests, journey maps, CJM and JTBD for deep understanding of user behavior
  • create interactive prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity layouts for testing hypotheses and verifying business ideas prior to development
  • participate in all stages of product development - from discovery to release, collaborating with Product Manager, analysts, and development team
  • maintain design integrity and consistency across all Digital Aurora digital products
  • manage and develop the Aurora Design System (UI components, tokens, guidelines, accessibility, motion)
  • participate in planning, demos, retrospectives, interacting with CPO and CTO in the strategic development of Digital Aurora products
  • control the implementation of design in development - quality, pixel-perfect, UX logic
  • conduct A/B tests, analyze results, and implement improvements based on data
  • raise quality standards for UX/UI in product teams

Requirements10

  • 5+ years of experience as Senior/Lead Product Designer in product companies (B2C only - e-commerce, marketplaces, SaaS, retail, fintech)
  • portfolio with cases demonstrating the process - from insight to measurable outcome (CR, AOV, retention, NPS)
  • deep expertise in Figma: component architecture, variables, auto layout 5.0, design tokens
  • deep understanding of UX principles, user behavior patterns, information architecture, and accessibility
  • experience in UX research: user interviews, usability testing, card sorting, A/B tests, analytics analysis
  • understanding of key product metrics: CR, AOV, DAU/MAU, NPS, retention, task success rate
  • ability to work with analytical tools: GA4, HotJar, Amplitude etc.
  • collaborative skills in cross-functional teams with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics
  • technical literacy - basic understanding of client-server architecture principles, front-end and mobile development constraints
  • ability to convincingly present design decisions at the C-level, translating UX language into business impact
