Associate Software Engineer, Frontend

We're seeking a driven and talented Junior Frontend Engineer eager to launch their career in a dynamic startup environment. Join Takt and gain hands-on experience with Vue, Nuxt, TailwindCSS, and Typescript, building innovative applications for the global warehousing and distribution industry. Based in Reston, VA, you'll collaborate in-office four days a week.

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions focused on enhancing warehouse, distribution, and logistics performance, utilizing Linear for task tracking and prioritization.
• Develop responsive, end-user-facing web applications for deployment across web, TVs, and mobile devices via web browsers, employing rapid iteration and feedback cycles within the agile process.
• Build applications using Vue, Nuxt, TailwindCSS, and Typescript, leveraging Cursor as the primary development environment for streamlined coding and collaboration.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain high-quality, distributed, and scalable software to cloud-based environments, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Operate within a dynamic, agile startup environment using Linear to manage tasks and prioritize features, with continuous integration and rapid development utilizing Cursor for real-time code sharing and review.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or two years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on front-end development.
• Hands-on experience deploying single-page applications built with Vue.js or Nuxt.js, preferably containerized with Docker and deployed to Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with RESTful API principles, including creating API libraries, executing HTTP requests, and managing user sessions.
• Practical knowledge of software testing methodologies, particularly using Vitest for unit testing and experience writing automated tests for front-end application code.
