UI Developer

Jump Trading is looking for an experienced UI front-end developer to join their UI platform team. The role involves building and extending the core UI platform and building business-critical applications using modern web technologies like React and TypeScript.

• Build and extend the core UI platform
• Use the platform to build business-critical applications
• Work with a wide variety of teams to help them use the platform to build their own applications

• At least 4+ years of professional experience building web-based UIs
• Extensive experience with React, TypeScript, WebSocket protocols, REST, and UI unit-testing
• Very comfortable working in a highly agile, collaborative methodology (sprints, pair-programming, testing, estimation, etc.)
• Deep empathy for developers who will consume your platform and foresight to deliver improvements while also managing change carefully
• Reliable and predictable availability
• An eye for quality design
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, containers, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in trading / finance.
