Senior AQA (JS) Engineer

About the Position

Our client is looking for a Senior QA & Automation Engineer to take ownership of a multi-platform automation strategy covering web and mobile applications. The role focuses on enabling high-quality, low-risk releases by building and maintaining robust automation frameworks.

Responsibilities8

• Own and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks across web and mobile.
• Design and implement scalable and reliable automated test suites.
• Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing dependency.
• Analyze and resolve flaky tests and improve test stability.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define QA strategies.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted QA tools and workflows.
• Ensure high-quality releases with minimal risk.

Requirements8

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation (web and mobile).
• Strong experience with Playwright and/or Appium.
• Solid programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript (Node.js).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• Strong understanding of test design, flakiness reduction, and debugging.
• Experience testing both web and mobile (native and mobile web).
• Familiarity with cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.)
