DevOps Engineer

Twist Robotics is a product defense company developing unmanned aerial vehicles (FPV, multi-rotor, and fixed-wing types) and related systems. They are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and develop backend infrastructure, build/release processes and test environments.

• support backend infrastructure and build/release processes of the product
• monitoring, diagnosing and restoring services in case of failures
• setting up and developing monitoring, alerting, and centralized logging for the backend
• improving dev/prod deployment flows, transparency of versions and tracking what is deployed
• developing backend deployment towards more reliable and high-availability configurations
• supporting and developing CI/CD for the backend, including automation of unit tests
• deploying and supporting smoke/e2e test environments, as well as clean client testing environments
• supporting build machine, automating builds, deployments, notifications and auxiliary tooling
• improving engineering practices for the team: automation, validation, pre-commit/pre-push checks
• participating in the development of infrastructure for new backend directions.

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps/Infrastructure/Platform Engineer
• experience in supporting production services and dealing with incidents
• practical experience with CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, logging
• understanding of deployment workflows, versioning, release processes and reliability practices
• experience in automating test environments and testing service launches
• experience in maintaining build/release infrastructure
• strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
