Backend Developer

About the Position

Join the xTiles development team as a Backend Developer and influence the product strategy directly. You'll tackle technical challenges involving Kotlin + Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Redis, and build event streams with NATS JetStream, while working in a startup culture focused on open feedback and innovation.

Responsibilities8

• Design and write microservices using Kotlin + Spring Boot (WebFlux)
• Design schemas in MongoDB
• Configure Redis for caching and rate-limiting
• Optimize Elasticsearch for full-text search
• Build event streams using NATS JetStream
• Prepare for eventual consistency and back-pressure
• Write RFCs and conduct technical discovery
• Mentor junior developers and share learnings in internal tech talks

Requirements4

• Experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Understanding of MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and microservices
• Ability to write production-level code and propose improvements
